Be like Nike, Just do it

When it is your time it is simply YOUR time and no one, not one single person can take that away from you. No matter how much someone tries, they can not come between you and what is for YOU!

The year 2020 has truly come in and made its presence known to the world. It put everyone at notice that they either get with the program or they get lost in all of the chaos. This includes me. And I’m like, Oh Ok 2020 I see you and I hear you very clearly.

I have literally been sitting on my goals, my dreams, my purpose for years, literally years. I can’t blame anyone for it but myself. I have used every excuse in the book from being lazy, tired, broke, procrastinating, work, the kids, time etc. You name it I did it, or said it.

So while 2020 has been rearing its ugly side I have been taking the necessary steps to move forward towards my goals, my purpose, my dreams. I am literally closing my eyes and doing as Nike told me, “Just do it.” That single tagline has gotten me through so much. It’s like I question something that I think or do, and out of nowhere something related to Nike pops up. This is not to endorse Nike, but it is to shout them out because my motto as of late is to, JUST DO IT. If Nike reaches out to me to be an ambassador for their brand I will surely take it tho lol.

So as I was saying 2020 has been one hell of a year so far. Instead of complaining and letting it defeat me, I am using all that it is throwing at me/us and making the best darn lemonade with the lemons life is throwing my way. And let me tell you these lemons are ripe and they hurt lol. We either get with the program or get lost.

What is the worst thing that can happen by just doing it? Doing what? Doing whatever it is that YOU want to do. I’ll tell you what will happen. You will do it and it will be successful and you will thank yourself and be proud of yourself that you did it. So give it a go.

Lately, If I think about it, I do it. Of course I pause for a minute and think about it but lately if my gut tells me to do it, I just do it. I can’t speak too much yet on what I have up my sleeve but please stay tuned and follow my journey.

If there is any advice that I could give to anyone, it would be this right here, “Whatever is for you is simply for you. Nothing and no one can take it away from you. It’s ok to be scared, but being scared and not trying is a for sure guaranteed way to fail. If you believe in you and God is for you, who can stop you? Just think of all of the people out there that are scared but they are still doing. If they can, you can too. If I can than you can too.”

Don’t sell yourself short! Be like Nike and JUST DO IT.
