Nothing in life is permanent. You are not exempt from losing everything. Remain humble!
Being humble is one of the best qualities someone can have. To be humble you understand that you are no better than anyone else regardless of your status. You understand that at any moment everything you have can be taken away from you.
With that being said, I have to address this Kendrick Lamar situation. So as a graduation gift he bought his sister a Toyata instead of something more expensive. Now let me remind you that the man has a song on the radio called “Be humble” telling people to be humble. Of course people have a bunch of negative to say about it. My first reaction when I saw that he bought her a car was how nice that is of him. Only for the next day to learn that people are bashing him for it.
Now as I stated the man has a song telling people to be humble, what is the purpose of having to buy something more “expensive?” It’s a nice car, it’s paid for and it gets you from point A to point B. And from what I hear Toyata Camry’s are one of the best cars to have. They last long and more reliable. But regardless, it’s a car, and a car that the same people hating on him for cant afford.
I will always choose to be humble not famous. At any given moment everything you have can be taken away from you. Everything! Just because you have money, doesn’t mean you have to spend it.
So my opinion. I commend Kendrick Lamar for remaining humble and doing what he wanted to do not what society expected him to do. I’m sure his sister appreciates it and he could careless about anyone’s opinion.
